As a Queensland chef, I love having the opportunity to share my passion and knowledge about the wonderful fresh produce that we have available to us on our doorstep.

As a Queensland chef focused on modern Thai cuisine, I consider myself blessed with the vast array of locally grown, exotic Asian ingredients which inspire my recipes. I’m delighted to showcase and share the spicy flavours with all at delectable.

Cooking never ceases to stimulate my imagination and Queensland offers up a world of ingredients to choose from. As a Brisbane-based chef, I am proud to share my love of great local and seasonal produce at delectable.

I am a country girl at heart. I know the importance and value of the farmer, the benefits of sourcing as locally as possible and as seasonally as possible. When I have some of the best produce at my door, why would I go elsewhere?

Using the ‘best natural ingredients to prepare great food’ is only possible with fabulous produce, which QLD supplies in abundance. With the best of the land at my disposal, this is a brilliant forum to share my enjoyment of cooking!

I am delighted to demonstrate my style of French cuisine using the splendid fresh produce found in Queensland, particularly those from the sea.

I feature Queensland’s delicious produce on almost every dish on my menu and the quality is second to none. This is a great opportunity both to showcase what they have to offer and help them back on their feet after last year’s floods.

A quality food, wine and music festival is greatly anticipated for Brisbane and I do believe it will benefit all of Queensland by embracing and showcasing our stunning produce.

delectable is a great opportunity for me to meet with local producers and share our philosophy of the importance of supporting small local producers and encouraging chefs and general public to source sustainable local ingredients.

Being involved in delectable Queensland gives me a great opportunity to use and showcase the amazing local produce that Queensland farmers have to offer to the rest of Australia.

I believe that seasonality is an important basis for menu production and one of the most significant ingredients in achieving a flavoursome, balanced and premium quality menu.

I’m very excited to be working with Queensland produce. With a climate that ranges from frost to the tropics, the scope and range of locally grown ingredients would make chefs from anywhere in the world green with envy.

It is an absolute pleasure to get to work again in one of my favourite parts of the world. I can’t wait to come and show off a little bit of Spanish flair using the unique and delicious produce of QLD.

The 12 days of delectable will provide the perfect platform to communicate and showcase the entire state’s food production, its chefs and its restaurants to a broad audience in Queensland and nationally.

I’m very excited to be part of Delectable, being able to showcase Queensland’s dedicated growers and producers array of wonderful produce along with prominent chefs highlighting the products to share what great regional produce we have at our door.

Having migrated from Malaysia as a child I was delighted with the natural affinity I had with the tropical ingredients of Queensland when I first visited a year ago.

The quality and variety of Queensland’s produce is second-to-none, especially its amazing seafood, and it certainly makes my role much easier to work with such delicious food every day.

Here in Queensland we produce and harvest at least seventy percent of food served to you. We are blessed with a warm sun, rich mineral soil and warm currents of the pacific ocean. It gives me great pleasure to showcase Queensland produce at it’s best

Queensland is the home of so much of the wonderful produce we use in delicious magazine, so we’re thrilled to be a part of the state’s first delectable festival.

I have been very inspired by the wonderful produce I have found while travelling through Australia’s regional centres and meeting our readers.
